Lord, You Know I Love You

 In collaboration with Father S.T. Antony Raja of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, Lancaster, Pa. Mychal's Message is pleased to offer this 12-song CD featuring artists from Lancaster, Pa. and Chennai, India. The CD includes a recitation of Father Mychal's prayer by Mychal’s Message founder Shannon Hickey, as well as a version of the prayer put to music ("Lord Take Me") and sung by Robert Hickey and a children’s chorus.

All selections on the CD were composed and written by Raja who describes the music as “a fusion of Ancient Tamil Folk and classical music, known as karnatic music, Hindustani music and western music.” The CD features opening and closing prayers by the current and former pastors of St. Leo the Great Church, Father Peter Hahn and Father William Sullivan, respectively.

About the Artists:

Martin Doman was born in Collegeville, PA and raised in a strong Catholic family of ten children with a clear sense of faith and love of music. His first album, Praying Twice, was recorded shortly before Martin graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville, at which point he began a career in full-time ministry.  Since 1996, Martin has recorded two additional albums and has been invited to lead worship at various conferences, retreats, and renewal events.

the innocence mission began as four friends who met during a Catholic high school production of the musical Godspell. Since 1989, they have released four critically acclaimed albums: The Innocence Mission (A&M 1989), Umbrella (A&M 1991), Glow (A&M 1995), and Birds Of My Neighborhood (RCA 1999). Through recordings and numerous tours, (on their own and with Natalie Merchant, EmmyLou Harris, 16 Horsepower) they have remained friends (Don Peris, Karen Peris, Mike Bitts, Steve Brown).
